European index futures point to sharp share falls
LONDON, Sept 5 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to sharp falls when shares start trading at 0700 GMT, suggesting equities in the region will add to steep losses from the previous session on intensified economic worries.
At 0614 GMT, DJ Euro Stoxx 50 STXEc1 futures were down 1.2 percent, German DAX futures FDXc1 down 0.9 percent and French CAC futures FCEc1 down 1.1 percent.
