HK shares open lower on weak global markets
HONG KONG, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares will open slightly lower, down 0.2 percent, on Thursday amid weak cues from the United States and China as investors fret about the impact of a global slowdown on corporate bottom lines.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI was set to open down 39.68 points at 20,545.38.
The China Enterprises Index .HSCE of top locally listed mainland Chinese firms was set to open 0.45 points higher at 11,077.28.
