Biovail investors approve incumbent director slate
TORONTO, Aug 8 (Reuters) - The shareholders of drugmaker Biovail Corp (BVF.TO: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) (BVF.N: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) approved its incumbent slate of directors during a vote on Friday.
Late last month, Biovail founder Eugene Melnyk said he was abandoning his plan to oust the company's board and elect his own slate of directors. (Reporting by Scott Anderson, writing by Wojtek Dabrowski; editing by Peter Galloway)
